The 2011 Annual Meeting will have its traditional kick off with the Opening Ceremonies on Sunday, Aug. 7, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
After the processional of past presidents, state association leaders, award winners, and new AANA Foundation Friends for Life, AANA President Paul Santoro, CRNA,MS, will welcome all attendees and inform them of all of the exciting events to take place over the course of the meeting.
In addition, awards will be presented to individuals selected as Program Director of the Year, Didactic Instructor of the Year, Clinical Instructor of the Year, Researcher of the Year, and the Rita L. LeBlanc Philanthropist of the Year. The Friends for Life announcements will also be made, recognizing CRNAs who have committed planned gifts to the AANA.
