On Saturday night, nearly 300 AANA members enjoyed an evening of “Cocktails and Camelot” at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. Proceeds from the ticket sales and auction benefited CRNA-PAC, “which helps to strengthen the voice of nurse anesthetists in the nation’s capitol,” said AANA Senior Director, Federal Government Affairs Frank Purcell. “Funds contributed by nurse anesthetists to CRNA-PAC go to support candidates for Congress that are supportive of and influential to the nurse anesthesia profession.”
Attendees are invited to stop by Federal Government Affairs/CRNA-PAC booth, number 1706 in the Exhibit Hall, and shoot hoops for the PAC. For $25, shoot as many baskets as you can. The player with the most baskets will win an iPad.
Purcell added that he would like to thank the CRNA-PAC Committee, especially Chair Don Roesler, CRNA, MS, and incoming Chair Steven Mund, CRNA, MS, MAJ, USAR, and the AANA Board of Directors for their support.
